These are the terms you agree to when you use Bike Logger.

Referred to below as "we" and "us". "You" is the person using the service. "The service" is the Bike Logger website and web application.
What the service is
A logbook for bike maintenance. You add your bikes, build them from a catalogue of parts, record services, and set a wear limit per part. Bike Logger works out how far each part has run from your bike's odometer and warns you when a part approaches its limit.
The service runs in a web browser. There is no mobile app.
Your account
You need an account to use the service. Keep your details accurate and your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. An account is for one person. You must be at least 16.
Trial, subscription and payment
Your account starts with a 30 day trial. It costs nothing and needs no payment card.
After the trial, the service costs 4 euro a month or 40 euro a year, both inclusive of VAT. Payment runs through Stripe, and a subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
You can cancel whenever you like from your account. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. We do not refund part of a period you have already started.
Because the service is delivered digitally and starts the moment you subscribe, you agree that performance begins immediately and you acknowledge that you therefore lose the 14 day right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to a consumer contract. The 30 day trial is there so you can decide before any money changes hands.
If we change the price, we will tell you by email before it applies to you, and you are free to cancel.
What you may not do
Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to upload. Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service. Do not resell access to it.
We may suspend or close an account that does these things.
Your content stays yours
Your bikes, parts, services, notes, photos and documents remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to store them and show them back to you, and nothing beyond running the service.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
Limits
Documents must be PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, RTF or ODT, at most 10 MB each, and at most 150 MB across your whole account. Photos can be attached to bikes and to services.
Other services
If you connect Strava, you also accept Strava's own terms and its API terms. The connection reads the bikes in your Strava gear and their distance, and writes nothing back.
Payments are governed by Stripe's terms in addition to these.
Availability
We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. We may take it down for maintenance. The service is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law gives you and we cannot exclude.
Liability
We are liable for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and for anything the law does not let us exclude, including harm to life, body or health. Beyond that, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage occurred. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under Belgian law.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by cancelling your subscription or deleting your account. We can end the agreement if you break these terms, or with reasonable notice for any other reason.
When a subscription ends, your logbook is locked rather than deleted and your data is kept for 12 months, as described in our privacy policy. After that it is deleted.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change we update the date at the top. If a change affects your rights or what you pay, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
Governing law
Belgian law applies. Disputes go to the courts of the judicial district of East Flanders, division Ghent, unless the law gives you as a consumer the right to bring the case somewhere else.
